These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of TalentCoach (the “Platform”), operated by TalentCoach Limited.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

3. Nature of the Platform
TalentCoach is an online marketplace that connects learners (and parents/guardians) with independent coaches across sport, music, the arts, and education.
- TalentCoach does not provide coaching services
- Coaches are independent providers and are not employed by TalentCoach
- TalentCoach is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of coaching services
Any agreement for coaching services is directly between the learner and the coach.
4. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep login details secure
- Notify us of unauthorised use
You must be:
- At least 18 years old, or
- Using the Platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian
5. Bookings and Payments
5.1 Booking process
- Learners can book sessions with coaches via the Platform
- Bookings may include one-off sessions, packages, or subscriptions
5.2 Payments
- All sessions must be paid for in advance via the Platform
- Payments are processed securely by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe)
- TalentCoach collects payment on behalf of coaches and distributes earnings to them
5.3 Fees and commission
- TalentCoach may charge a commission or service fee
- This is included within the pricing shown on the Platform
5.4 No off-platform payments
Users must not:
- Arrange payment outside the Platform for sessions initiated via TalentCoach
- Attempt to avoid platform fees
- Breach of this may result in suspension or termination of your account.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6.1 Coach policies
- Coaches set their own cancellation terms unless otherwise specified
6.2 Platform expectations
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session may not be refunded
- Refunds or rescheduling may be considered at the coach’s discretion
6.3 Platform discretion
TalentCoach may:
- Intervene in disputes
- Issue refunds or credits in exceptional circumstances
However, we are not obliged to do so.
7. Coaches
Coaches are solely responsible for:
- Their qualifications and experience
- Maintaining appropriate insurance (where applicable)
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Delivering coaching services safely and professionally
While we take steps to support trust and transparency on the Platform, coaches remain responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, and we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
8. Platform Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Platform
- Circumvent the Platform to avoid fees
- Share contact details to move interactions off-platform before booking
- Engage in unlawful, abusive, or harmful behaviour
- Harass, threaten, or exploit other users
We may monitor activity to maintain safety and trust.
9. Safeguarding and Safety
TalentCoach is committed to providing a safe environment.
- Users may report concerns or inappropriate behaviour
- We may investigate and take action, including suspending accounts
- We may retain relevant data for safeguarding and compliance purposes
10. Messaging and Communications
- Messaging on the Platform should be used for legitimate coaching-related communication
- We may monitor or review communications where necessary for safety, fraud prevention, or compliance
11. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, branding, and software are owned by TalentCoach or its licensors.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute content without permission
- Use the TalentCoach brand without consent
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TalentCoach is not liable for:
- The conduct of coaches or learners
- The quality or outcome of coaching services
- Any injury, loss, or damage arising from coaching sessions
- Indirect or consequential loss
- Loss of earnings, profits, or opportunities
- Disputes between users
- We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid to TalentCoach in the preceding 12 months.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded under law
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these Terms
- We suspect fraud, misuse, or harmful behaviour
- Required for legal or regulatory reasons
You may stop using the Platform at any time.
14. Changes to the Platform
We may:
- Modify or update the Platform
- Add or remove features
- Change pricing or commission structures
We will provide reasonable notice where appropriate.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
