3. Our Role as a Platform

TalentCoach is a marketplace platform that connects learners (and parents/guardians) with independent coaches across sport, music, the arts, and education.

• TalentCoach acts as a data controller for personal data processed through the Platform.
• Coaches using TalentCoach may also act as independent data controllers in relation to the services they provide to learners.

This means that when you engage directly with a coach, that coach may process your personal data independently in accordance with their own responsibilities.

TalentCoach is not responsible for how coaches use personal data outside of the platform.

4. Information We Collect

We may collect and process the following types of personal data:

A. Information you provide directly

• Name
• Email address
• Telephone number
• Billing and payment-related information
• Profile information (e.g. biography, qualifications, experience)
• Messages sent via the Platform

Our application integrates with Google API Services, including Google Calendar, to provide core functionality of the platform.

When you connect your Google account, we may access and process the following data:

• Calendar events (only those created or managed by the platform)

• Ability to create, update, and delete events
• Generation of Google Meet links for online sessions

We use this data solely to:

• Schedule and manage coaching sessions
• Create and update calendar events on your behalf

We do not use Google user data for:

• Any purpose unrelated to the core functionality of the Service

Payments made through TalentCoach are processed securely by Stripe.

8. Marketing Communications

We may send newsletters and promotional communications where you have opted in.
